About Me

I absolutely love what I do for a living and can't imagine doing anything else. I truly consider it an honor to be entrusted with the innermost passions, loves, concerns, fears, and tears that my clients share with me.
My Therapeutic Training
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a native of Buffalo, New York. I'm a graduate of Miami University of Ohio as well as the State University of New York at Buffalo, where I completed my Masters degree.
I have clinical experience at an adolescent residential treatment, working as a forensic consultant in the California prison system and working in a therapeutic high schools. For a majority of my career, I've done victim-specific work with older adolescents and adults, regularly coordinating with the FBI human trafficking division, and serving as an expert witness for the State of Colorado.
My true passion has matured into working with women primarily. The complexities and often unseen magnificence in my older adolescent and adult women never cease to inspire and amaze me. This has also led me to become public speaker for companies and organizations wanting to enhance the quality of life and professional intentionality of their female leadership. Outside of the Office
In my personal time, I am an avid cyclist and long-distance open water swimmer. I have proudly represented Cervelo Bikes on their ambassador team. I am involved with several civic organizations and boards and I paint, run, and garden whenever possible (mostly at the expense of having a dust-free home). I have two dogs, Ed Coconut and Bernadette (whom you will perhaps meet curled up on your feet) as well as a little human squirt, Margaret.
I selected Golden, for my home, as well as my office because it is an atmosphere where you can walk down the busiest street, surrounded by natural beauty and people who are at peace, enjoying their outdoor activities. The challenge we all have in this life is to achieving contentment, so I thought I'd give you a head start with a beautiful environment to grow.
